  Great bar. Wide selection of beer available including many local options! Although it is near the university, it is well more than just a college bar. I enjoyed both the Central Waters Slainte, a Scottish ale, and O'so Blood of the Cherry, a tart sour beer. Great place to relax and quiet enough to talk!

  I'm a frequent flyer at Guu's and it's a solid place for a meal or just drinks. The menu is typical bar food - various sandwiches, burgers, and fried foods. My personal favorites from the menu are the fried green beans and the Cajun burger. They also have a tasty ranch - a very important WI condiment! I think most patrons enjoy the large selection of beers on tap - my recommendation would be the Casper white stout on nitro. The servers are good, I've never had a negative experience with any of them and they work hard - especially Friday nights when it's packed for fish fry. Personally, I think there are better places in town for a fish fry but if you want the typical Friday night fish fry, Guu's can get that for ya.

  I have been dining here for over 15 years! The atmosphere is laid back and inviting, the staff are friendly and professional, there are many local beers on tap and the food is fantastic! I highly recommend the perch fish fry on Friday's, not too many places offer this anymore! I honestly have never had a bad experience here, that's why I keep coming back!
